origins super spot remover

I received a sample of this about a mouth ago and am still using it.  Granted I don't get a lot of spots but occasionally it happens lol.  But the point is, this stuff works.  I had a large bump in my ear (weird spot I know but Im sure Im not the only person in the world that happens to).  I used a q-tip to put it on the place for 3 days in the morning and at night.  After those 3 day it was GONE!!!

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I have tried these a few different times and I am still not sure if they are actually working.  At the take off point sometimes you can see a spot or two that makes it look that it is working but other times nothing shows up at all.  I cant give it a horrible grade however because it could be because I have a problem with blackheads.

I would probably give this a C

First freebie haul!!!!

Alrighty, not going to avoid it I am so excited about my first freebie haul.  I went to Walmart and Walgreens and got 6 things absolutly for free.

-Walmart has suave lotion for $.93 and there is a coupon for $1.50=free

-Suave professionals has a coupon for $2 and this shampoo was $1.98=free

- zexxus* has a coupon for $5.00 (printable) this shampoo was $4.97=free

-wet and wild is $.93 using a $1 off coupon= free

-I had a complimentary coupon for an almond breeze milk so free (usually $2.88)

-from Walgreens I found this smooshed box on clearance for $3. Walgreens nov coupons includes a $2 off and I had a $1 off manufactures coupon! 

That is pretty good for my first haul if I do say so myself!!!!

Green Mountain coffee Fair trade and Bzzagent

I am really hoping that the image shows up!  It had been a pain to try to use in the past...
anyways this isn't about the picture THIS is about Green Mountain using fair trade and being awesome.  Green Mountain Coffee and Bzzagent teamed up and sent people (including me) several Kcups of their three continent blend coffee to get the buzz out about their fair trade!  The coffee is really good and I am not big on bold coffee so thats saying something.  however I did have to add more cream and sugar then I normally do but thats okay with me.  The really big thing is the fair trade part.  you can learn more about fair trade by visiting this web page (ChooseFairTrade.com). After I learned about it it makes me want to by more coffee thats fair trade.

Okay this stuff is WONDERFUL!!! (Yes I did that on purpose) I took the picture while it was still full so everyone could see the great color the product has. I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was I was happy to be wrong! This will be a new treat for me! Any coupon I get my hands on  for these will be used!!

BZZAGENT CAMPAIGN GREEN MOUNTAIN FAIR TRADE COFFEE

Okay so I got a bzzagent campaign.  Ive already shown it in my mail post but I haven’t reviewed it.  I already loved Green Mountain Coffee.  This three continent flavor didn’t disappoint at all.  Not only is the coffee great but so is the cause.  This flavor is a product of fair trade.  Learn more about fair trade here ChooseFairTrade.com .  My understanding of fair trade is that they trade directly with the coffee bean farmers and pay them a fair price.  This makes a really big difference for the farmers. AND hey it makes for some really good flavored coffee… win win!

race for the cure freebies

So over fall break I was in little rock and did race for the cure with a friend. These are the freebies I got from before the race. I will do a separate review for the things reviewable (lol) but I wanted to post the full picture incase people wanted to see what you can get or compare what your city does to others.

XYLOBURST

I was one happy girl when I checked my mailbox this afternoon! I had emailed xyloburst telling them I was a blogger and would like to try there product but I never got a responce soo I assumed they spammed me and I could kiss that goodbye! WELL you know what they say about assuming, well this one made an ass out of only me!!! They sent me a package of a variety of things! I am so excited to try everything and I will add to this post about each of them!!!

The first thing I tried was the peppermint gum! I’m not that big of a peppermint gum person but this flavor didn’t offend me at all. It was flavorful enough to get the job done but not so much that it over whelmed me or gave a burning, must spit out, feeling that a lot of peppermints give me! All in all this one was good and it lasted a pretty long time!!

SNAPPLE PEACH TEA

I love tea… It’s a weakness (granted Its a combined weakness of tea and coffee but still!) anyway so I love it, a lot. Well I requested a free sample of some snapple teas. They sent me the lemon and peach kcup brew over ice teas. The lemon was good didn’t leave a huge effect on me but I would drink it again. However the peach was AMAZING. They sent 2 FREE samples of this one (and the lemon but I’m not as excited about that one if we are being honest). I am now, as I write this, craving the peach tea. It had so much flavor and was sweet enough that I didn’t have to add any extra sugar. I recommend this to anyone who likes iced tea. I will be buying a package of these on my next trip to the store!

10/16/13 mail

So I went home (to my parents house) for the weekend and when I came back I disappointingly only had one thing in my mailbox. Granted I did only just start requesting free samples online.

This one thing I have been looking forward to! I emailed triple leaf tea asking for a sample. And they didn’t send me one, they sent me 4 and fast too! I haven’t tried them yet but when I do I will write a review about them!

EOS LIP BALM

Okay so I have only tried two flavors of the EOS lip balm, the mint and the red one.  I actually really like them which is kind of rare for me because I usually get really tired of having the same flavor on my lips all the time.  I keep one in my purse and the other in the door of my car… I know, I know lip balm usually melts in the car WELL this one didn’t I left it in my car all summer in the Arkansas heat and the most it ever did was get a little sticky and all I did was dab it to my lip and that was enough but it never lost its shape or anything ridiculous! I strongly recommend this product and when I am out of it I will buy a different flavor so hopefully I can eventually try them all!

Airwick candle

Okay so I was looking in the clearance section at Walmart today and came across this candle. For $5 I decided I would give it a try. So far I can report that the smell is pleasing and the light aspect is interesting. I think the light would be more pleasing if you used it for a different setting (I was watching tv so it actually distracted me a few times). I've been having sautéed veggies for my meals for the past few days and it leaves a lingering smell which this candle removed rather well. The only issue I might have is when I discover how much candle is actually in the container or if the light aspect is taking up too much room! I will add to this post when I know!!!

Bath and Body Works

Okay confession time,
 I am OBSESSED with Bath and Body Works and I think everyone else should be too! I have never been in the store and not had a good experience. Every worker I have ever talked to knew exactly where things were and didn't just point they walked me to that spot in the store asked if that's what I wanted, asked if there was anything else, and gave an honest review of the product (if they themselves had tried it of course). Even during the Simi annual sell they helped me dig to find the product I wanted! Where else can you find that kind of help??
Second confession: I have gotten where I don't buy unless it is the Simi-annual sell. Which, for my needs, I have close to perfected. I LOVE this sell. What other store has a sell for up to 75% off and still lets you use the $10 off $30 coupon? They have me hooked!
This last sell was my best score yet.
-I love their candles BUT can't bring myself to buy them for $22. So if you go to the sell the first few days they have a few select flavors that go on the 75% off table. A $5.50 candle sounds much better to me!
- I use their shower gel and love it! During the sell its around $3 for the retired ones they bring back for the sell. And then they have different ones in the 50% and 75% off boxes! I tend to get a few in the $3 because there's usually one brought back that I love then I hit up the other sell boxes. I always get one or two of my favorite in the sell and end up with 6 total because those last me till the next sell with 1-2 left over.
-I do the same thing with the lotions but usually only get 2-3 of those bc they last me way longer!
-I also got lucky in this last sell and they had some of the true blue spa products on sell for 50% off. I had wanted to try the cellulite gel lotion and the sugar scrub but couldn't make myself pay full price.
Soon I will review some of the products I got from the last sell BUT for now I just wanted to share the general info!

Tresemme dry shampoo

(for the record I'm one of those people who has a hard time throwing things away, I feel like if I do I need it a few days later, or a friend will want to try it and I can save them money, or times like this I will give the product one last chance!)
I bought this brand a while back and tried using it but it never seemed to do right. Yesterday I was in a hurry and decided I would give it another go. This time it payed off! It's very important that you don't hold it too close to your hair when you spray it. If you hold it too close it does the opposite. You also have to spray a good amount and wait until it is dry on your hair before brushing it out. At first it looks like you have baby powder in your hair but you can't just brush your hair once after using the spray. You have you flip your hair and brush it in different directions not just from the part down. Also to get the best effect when spraying you can't just spray in the part, you also need to get other areas of your roots to make sure you spray even.
Overall I'm very pleased that I tried again! If dry shampoo is something that you are interested in try give this product a chance. IF you use it just right the result can please you
